Sales Tax Policy
Do we have to pay Sales Tax? |
Yes, if you or your organization resides in the states of New York or Illinois. |
What sales tax rate do we pay? |
In New York and Illinois, the retail sales tax is a destination tax. The point of delivery or the point at which possession is transferred by the vendor to the purchaser determines the rate of tax to be collected. Sales delivered outside New York and Illinois states are exempt from tax. Your sales tax rate will be based on the New York or Illinois State county in which your purchase is shipped to. Sales to certain individuals and organizations are not subject to sales tax. The purchaser must exercise the right to exemption by submitting the proper tax exemption certificate or other documentation to Program Development Associates. The form must be submitted for each purchase requested. |
